Our Story

Mozhi means "language." Language is what we use to express, and we believe clothing is also a form of expression. That expression should come from the people wearing it.

That belief is the reason we exist the way we do. Before we design anything, we go out and talk to real women, in person, about what they actually feel, what problems they face with their clothes, and what they wish existed. We don't design first and market the story after. We listen first, because the story is where the design comes from. And even after a product is out, we go back to the field again, to know how women respond to it and how they feel wearing it.

Every design decision we make carries a real conversation behind it. Yazh, our first product, exists because of those conversations. We design with people — that's what "listening-led" means to us. Not a tagline. A process.

I always say every stitch started as a sentence someone spoke to us. It sounds poetic, but it's literally how we design
